MillionTreesNYC is an initiative with the goal to plant and care for one million trees within the city's five boroughs over the next decade.
I searched the stacks of the University of Texas at Austin library to find vintage maps of New York. Once I found the perfect maps, I scanned and reassembled them to form an unique tree paired with my own tagline. The striking visual communicates the collective power to unite the five boroughs through planting trees.
